Pamporovo is situated in the heart of the Rhodopi mountain. It is currently the most southern skiing resort in Europe. This Bulgarian mountain resort has wonderful snow throughout the whole season. Pamporovo is 1650 m above sea level and is positioned at the foot of the Snejanka mountain (1926 m).
The skiing season commences in the middle of December and runs to the middle of April.
The unique position of Pamporovo allows it to have an average of 120 sun drenched days during the skiing season, the temperature is obviously not sun bathing weather but it creates a lovely crisp environment in which to enjoy your skiing.
The Pamporovo slopes are particularly suitable for beginners with its gradual profiles and rounded pistes. There are also slopes for the more experienced skier who may want to test themselves on the giant slalom.
There are currently over 31km of pistes that are maintained to a very high standard
